Elisabeth Klinck is a violinist and performance-artist born in Belgium where she is currently earning her master’s degree at Luca School of Arts (Lemmensinstituut, Leuven). Through her long standing interest in contemporary music she has performed pieces by, among others, Simon Steen-Andersen, Stefan Prins, Eveline Vervliet, Madeleine Jonsson Gille, Zhong Yun, Alexander Schubert, Cyriel De Clippel, Luciano Berio, at festivals such as Ferienkurse für Neue Musik (Darmstadt), TRANSIT festival STUK (Leuven) and What’s Next Festival (Brussels). Apart from creating her own music and performances/installations, she is also the founder and violinist of the Belgian based contemporary music ensemble NEMØ.
