Born in Santimento (PC), Leonardo Zoncati achieved his Diploma with the maximum votation in Piacenza (Conservatorio G.Nicolini) and he’s currently attending his master degree with Andreas Sundén at Royal college of music in Stockholm. He has been awarded several national and international competitions including: competition «Giorgio Girati»; international competition «Premio Antonio Salieri»; international competition «Giovani Musicisti»- città di Treviso; clarinet competition “A. Zanella”. He also plays chamber music in duo, and has been awarded in national competitions “Piove di Sacco” , “Valsesia Musica” and "Valtidone Competition". He recently won a scholarship offered by Rotary Club Piacenza and was selected for the Lyons Club national competition. In 2016 and 2017 he was awarded a scholarship by Trio Pakovsky. He has attended several masterclasses with Maestri: Alessandro Carbonare, Calogero Palermo, Lorenzo Coppola, Enrico Maria Baroni, Patrick Messina, Anton Dressler and Davide Cabassi (chamber music) and Paolo Beltramini; he also studied with M° Fausto Ghiazza and M° Corrado Orlando. He has played as first clarinet with Orchestra Sinfonica A. Zanella, Orchestra Cremona Classica and Ensemble Nuages and actually he play with Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana. He has been part since 2015 of ensemble of contemporary music collettivo_21. He teaches clarinet in Rottofreno (Artemusica school music).
