Violinist Holly Workman is an active performer of traditional and contemporary classical music and has appeared in concerts across the US and Europe. Holly Workman has appeared as a guest artist with the MIVOS Quartet and has performed with the JACK Quartet, Irvine Arditti, Sō Percussion, and Alan Pierson, among others. She has worked closely with numerous composers, including George Lewis, Steve Reich, and Charles Wuorinen. She has appeared as a soloist with the OSSIA Ensemble and has performed with many other ensembles including the Slee Sinfonietta and Eastman Musica Nova. Holly Workman has participated in the Master Course Klangspuren Schwaz International Ensemble Modern Academy, the Sibelius Academy Creative Dialogue X where she worked with Anssi Karttunen and Magnus Lindberg on music for strings and electronics, the Bowdoin International Music Festival, the Bang on a Can Festival, and others. In addition, she has appeared as a performer at the June in Buffalo Festival and the New Mexico Chamber Music Festival. Holly Workman has received coaching from or worked with members of many ensembles including Ensemble Signal, Bang on a Can All Stars, Talea Ensemble, and Ensemble Modern. She is originally from Lancaster, Pennsylvania and holds her Master of Music and Bachelor of Music with High Distinction from the Eastman School of Music where she studied with Renée Jolles. Holly is currently participating in the International Ensemble Modern Academy.
