Kammermusik Akademie Vitznau (KMAV – Vitznau Chamber Music Academy) is a pioneering promotion scheme for gifted musicians. Our international participants are young people who are already thinking about their futures, both personal and musical.

The KMAV scholarship programme is aimed at instrumentalists who want to explore the vast array of possibilities open to them in our diverse modern world and to understand the impact of these possibilities on the musical realm.

The Academy takes the form of nine group sessions, spread across a period of two years. So, rather than a string of occasional masterclasses, the programme offers a sustained, long-term commitment.
