Nicolas Roulive is born in Namur, Belgium.

After getting his bachelor degree in piano in Belgium, he studied composition in Paris and is pursuing now a Master degree in multimedia composition at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève, Switzerland with Michael Jarrell, Luis Naon and Gilbert Nouno.

He also studied with Santiago Diez-Fischer. 

He had the chance to take part in international festivals, such as : "CrossRoads" in Salzburg (AU), "ManiFeste" in Paris (FR), "Archipels" in Geneva (CH), Bludenzer Tage Zeitgemässer Musik (AU) etc.

He has been working with musicians and ensembles such as : Contrechamps, Vortex, Proton-Bern, Quartetto Maurice, etc.

When not busy, he loves to waste time playing video games, making chiptune music, watching movies, drink wine and petting cats.
