Visual artist working in meditative drawing performance and installations. Working primarily with Senior citizens and neurologically impaired individuals. Annette Manning was born in Newfoundland, Canada and now lives in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Newfoundland is an isolated, remote island in the most easterly reaches of North America. It is situated where cold waters coming down from the Arctic meet warm waters coming up from the Caribbean. This results in tumultuous weather. Lots of storms and fog and snow with few sunny days. But the air is very clean and nature is wild and dramatic. Annette believes experiencing this constantly changing North Atlantic water/sky horizon is the reason she is obsessed with harmony.
