Silas Palermo has experience both in classical and popular music, Jazz and also with Synthesizers. Obtained honorable mention as finalist of the Piano Competition in Araçatuba (1987); 1o. Place at the Sesc / Maringá Song Festival: Instrumental Music (1990). He was Music Director at the Igreja Vida Nova Project - Rio de Janeiro / RJ (1994-2000); worked as Music Producer and Arranger of MK Publicita-Recording: Rio / RJ (1997-2000); won Gold Record in Cd "Jesus Fonte de Alegria" - RJ (1997); (2001-2002), with his orchestral compositions performed at the International Festival of Musica Nova and at the Arts Biennial (2001-2002); (France / Euro Conservatory 2001) as well as piano compositions by Dr. Antônio Eduardo / UNESP; and recording Sony Music Brasil / RJ as Pianist in production directed by Helio Delmiro. Co-Founder and Director of the Cultural Center School of Adorers Saints (2002-2008). He participated as a jury in the Piano Competition at the Mun Conservatory. of Cubatão (2007). He was a visiting professor at the ACOM - Atlanta Conservatory of Music (2008) and full professor at Canzion Atlanta / USA Institute (2008-2009). He is currently professor of Musical Composition, Harmony and Music and Technology at the Catholic University of Santos.
