MARCELLO PAOLO GUARNACCI is graduated in Conducting, Composition and Accordion at the Conservatory “O. Respighi”, Latina (Italy). He also obtained a Master degree in Accordion, with a mark of 110, honors and special mention. As part of the Erasmus project, he attended the “Staatliche Hochschule für Musik” in Trossingen (Germany).
He is the absolute winner of the 2012 National Arts Prize, Accordion section, promoted by the Ministry of Education, University and Research. He gives concerts as a soloist and in chamber ensembles for various institutions, in Italy and abroad, including: “100 Years John Cage” Festival, Halberstadt (Germany); Italian Cultural Institute of Budapest; Kaliningrad Academy of Music (Russia) in collaboration with the Ministry of Cultural Heritage; Carrefour Mondial de l'Accordéon, Quebec (Canada); Nuova Consonanza, Rome; Conservatory “A. Casella” from L'Aquila; Olympic Theater in Rome; Latina International Music Campus.
He also studied conducting under the direction of Marcello Bufalini at the Conservatory “A. Casella”, L'Aquila, perfecting his studies on the opera repertoire with Francesco Lanzillotta. He has conducted the Orchestra Sinfonica Abruzzese, the Ensemble Testori and the Orchestra “O. Respighi”.
