A work for solo clarinet working in close collaboration with the clarinettist Visser Liebenberg to create a work based on the idiosyncratic sound catalogue of the imstrumentalist. A work exploring composer-instrumentalist hierarchies, improvisation, performance practices and the 'unplaying' of the instrument.
