Sonetto morto is a piece for trio of flute, bass clarinet and cello. This piece was born with the desire to pay homage to the composer Sylvano Bussotti, who died in 2021.

The title comes from the poem Sonetto morto, taken from the poem collection Non fare il minimo rumore. 29 poesie e una prosa (1997), created by Sylvano Bussotti with his own poetic production composed between 1982 and 1997.
