Benedetto Boccuzzi (1990) is an eclectic and passionate musician, pianist and composer. His repertoire presents a wide spectrum of works ranging from baroque to the newest contemporary music. Benedetto has performed as soloist and chamber musician in Italy, Germany, Romania, Spain and Portugal. Benedetto has a Master Degree with honours in Piano Performance (N. Rota Conservatoire) and during his academic career, he specialized in contemporary music performance training with two contemporary music ensembles, Zahir Ensemble in Seville (Spain) and Teatro Lirico Sperimentale in Spoleto (Italy). Benedetto has a Professional Diploma in Contemporary Music Ensemble performance issued by Educational Found of the Territorial government of Umbria (Italy). His professional career includes performing, teaching and working as an accompanist. He worked as an accompanist at Porto's ESMAE (Portugal) and has also performed as solo and continuo harpsichordist. As a composer Benedetto has produced various works for solo instrument and ensemble premiered in Italy, Spain and Rumania.
