Jared Bennett is a composer from London, working in both acoustic and electronic composition. He is interested in creating emotive and engaging works exploring the playful; games, humour, and the superimposition of disjunct soundworlds are all represented in his musical output. He is also working in the realms of sound art and installation art, creating immersive musical experiences with Subpatch, an intermedia collective he co-founded in 2018. He is currently studying at the Royal Academy of Music with David Sawer and Rubens Askenar, having graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2017, where he studied with Robin Holloway and Christian Mason.
