Tea plantations in developing countries are a brewing ground for some of the worst human trafficking and bonded labour cases recorded in the world. Traffickers entice children, especially young girls to large cities where they are promised education and freedom when they are later tortured and forced to slave away under harsh working conditions for life.

Infused with Silent Voices is a sonic exploration of the silenced voices of those who are trapped in this cycle of debt bondage. The work tracks the emotions and paints the harsh and relentless working environment of tea plantations, from extended hours of tea leaves harvestation to overheated tea processing rooms.
