Francesco (Italy, b. 1992) is a composer and multimedia artist based in the Netherlands where he is currently completing his Master’s degree in Sonology at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague. Originally trained in classical piano and composition at the Music Conservatory of Perugia, he is now leading his research focusing on musical embodiment and human-computer interaction. Aiming to empower the role of the performer by designing interactive music systems based on bodily gestural and creative machine learning algorithms, his concern is investigating the compositional implications of using real-time electronic processes in live performances.
