Piece for string quartet based on a prime number partial spectral scordatura, which makes use of complex polyrythmic structures and combinatorial compositional processes. The title refers to the three concepts of time in classical Greek thought : Chronos, objective, circular time ; Kaïros, the time of opportunity, of action ; Aiôn, the time of what returns, of eternity. These three concepts are embodied all throughout the piece by musical objects displaying specific temporal behaviours, whose various combinations and interrelations define a sort of "tragedy of time".
