Remus Georgescu International Festival-Competition

The „Banatul” Philharmonic of Timișoara (Romania) is launching an international call to young composers to participate in the third edition of the Composition Contest within the "Remus Georgescu International Festival-Competition", which will take place between October 14 and 27, 2024.

Those interested can register until May 9, 2024 at the latest.

After the selection, the jury will appoint five winners, who will be announced on June 10, 2024.

They will be invited to write a work that will be performed for the first time in the edition of this year of the festival. The five selected participants will each win a place in the Composition Workshop coordinated by THOMAS ADÈS in Timișoara, during the festival.
