The proposed performance is a feedback to the installation work by David Maljkoviĉ at the Rijeka Musuem. Similarly to the way the artworks from the museum’s collection are borrowed from the storage and displayed in the exhibition halls, the music performance doesn’t rely on the conventional pattern of concert performance of the music works. Instead, the perception of the pieces is getting re-framed by means of juxtapositions and new contextual connections.The individual artworks serve as signifying elements in the meta-artwork by Maljkoviĉ, and likewise, in music performance we сome out from the position of “meta-composition.
